This Arabica coffee comes from the beautiful Araku Valley in Andhra Pradesh, where the coffee beans are grown organically in small batches by tribal smallholder farmers. The beans are then harvested and processed carefully to ensure only the best beans make the cut. This coffee was ethically sourced from these farmers, who have been trained* to produce coffee beans of the highest quality through better farming techniques. This means better profits for the farmers, and better coffee for you! *Sustainable Livelihoods for Smallholder Farmers program is being implemented by non profit TechnoServe through grant funding support by Walmart Foundation. The program aims to improve the livelihoods of smallholder coffee farmers, their families and communities.
